This plastic bench and bowl dough scraper will make handling your dough much easier. Sourdough tends to be quite a wet dough, so it’s always handy being able to scoop it up without damaging your bench (like a steel bench scraper can do if you have a delicate bench top). Dishwasher safe, it’s also very easy to clean.
The scraper also makes shaping doughs much easier. Being able to tension the skin of the dough without it sticking to the bench is a must, and the scraper handles it perfectly.
You can even use it to scrape bowls, due to its rounded edge. So many uses for a single tool!

I got a pair of Dutch ovens for Christmas. It was the best present. I can now bake two loaves of sourdough in one go. Two of them fit perfectly on the same level in my 60x60 size oven. So far all my breads turned out perfect. Every sourdough baker should own a pair of this.

I also purchased the Danish dough whisk and it is a game changer. The very solid handle makes the action of mixing the dough so much easier. The whisk combines the dough more thoroughly than just using a spatula. A fabulous purchase.

I've heard countless confusing sentences I've never thought i would hear like: "I've got to put the Sourdough to bed" & " I've got to get home to feed the baby (Sourdough)" We have children so referencing bread when your physical child is standing there is something else :) . 10/10 would recommend! I get to eat fresh sourdough daily at the low low cost of my wife's life slowly being consumed by her new sourdough obsession.
